          Tried that. Wrote to you on 24 September, no reply. Wrote again this morning, no reply. Now I have to pay by credit card which I didn’t want to do. Not impressed.

    Likewise…I too got the same message from PayPal as Ian reported June 19—-unable to receive money.

    I have had the same PayPal error message as Catherine and Ian.
    Also, trying a credit card payment, I was booted out.
    It is hard trying to donate!

    I tried paying via Visa and received an error “Too many redirects”. I’m not inclined to try the payment again as I don’t know if the payments went through.

      Hi Lou,

      I’ve dug into the logs and I think I can see you payment attempt, and if it’s the one I’m looking at it definitely hasn’t been processed.

      I’m working on figuring out why the redirect loop happens at the moment. If you’d like to email we can get back in touch with you once we’ve got that figured out.

    After paying I got:

    The page isn’t redirecting properly

    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

    Like Lou, I don’t feel like trying again, for the same reasons – and if the payment went through, I don’t have a receipt of payment for the tax department :(

      I think I’ve tracked down your payment attempt, and as far as I can tell it didn’t complete so you shouldn’t have been charged. If you do see a charge on your statement, please email us at to let us know

    I tried commenting, but my comment was lost as my session ‘had expired’. I have the same issue as Lou – and if payment went through, I don’t have a receipt for the tax department :(

    hi- problems doing a once off payment. entered credit card details and basically was processing for ages. it is really disappointing to see everyone else having the same issues.

    such a pity cause the email service is great and Open Aust will lose considerable donations as a result!

    In attempting to fix the problems with the donations page, we’ve changed a few more settings and turned on a bunch of extra logging. If you’re able to give it another try we’d really appreciate it – either we’ll find out that we aren’t seeing problems any more, or we should get a lot more information to help us track down the issue.

    Hi team i just tried twice and got the redirect error. I cleared my cookies as per instructions but still didn’t work. Thanks for your service ill see if my work desktop works to make a donation instead
